The Party, State and people remember the service given to the revolution by generations of compatriots and will continue “paying debts of gratitude” policies to improve families’ living standards, said Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung on June 28 met with a delegation of people in central Binh Dinh province who have given services to the revolution.

Around 108,800 policy beneficiaries are enjoying State subsidies in Binh Dinh, accounting for more than 6 percent of the provincial population.

At the meeting, Mr Hung said Vietnam remains a poor country so State policies towards those rendering services to the nation are a small compensation for the great contributions of heroes, martyrs, heroic mothers and young volunteers.

In the lead up to the 60th anniversary of Martyrs’ Day, July 27, the Deputy Prime Minister extended warm regards to policy beneficiaries in Binh Dinh and other provinces across the country in the hope that they would make further contributions to building Vietnam into a prosperous and rich country.
