US to provide patrol boats for Vietnam

VOV.VN - In a press release on May 23, the White House said the US will provide Vietnam with 18 MetalShark 45-foot patrol boats and training and maritime law enforcement equipment to the country’s Coast Guard. 

The fact sheet says the two navies are working more closely together to ensure maritime security and safety. Some photos:
