Legal reform will be the main issue at the third session of the 12th National Assembly on May 6, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong said on February 27.
During the session, the National Assembly (NA) is expected to approve 13 draft laws and discuss 10 more, including many revised laws.
They will also discuss some reports on socio-economic development and the State budget, a number of supervision reports, reports on voters’ opinions, and answers to NA delegates’ questions.
In order to shorten the session duration without affecting its effectiveness, it would be necessary to make sufficient preparations and improve procedures and working methods, said Mr Trong.
