Vietnam’s representative agencies will create favourable conditions for Italian businesses to invest in Vietnam, said ambassador Nguyen Van Nam at a business forum held in Milan city on Match 29-30.

“Vietnam has made thorough preparations for international economic integration and offered great opportunities to foreign investors, including those from Italy,” said Mr Nam at the Vietnam-Italy business forum. “These opportunities have been growing since a visit to Italy by Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung earlier this year.”

Giuseppe Castelli, Vice President of the Lombardia Region’s Employers Association, appreciated Vietnam's recent fast global integration and expressed his hope that businesses from the two countries will make a big leap in trade revenues, thus boosting bilateral economic ties.

The forum was co-sponsored by the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade and the Industrial and Employers' Association of the Lombardia Region, attracting representatives from 100 Italian businesses and almost 80 Vietnamese partners.
