Entrepreneurs elected to the National Assembly (NA) should do their best to represent the aspirations and raise the voice of the Vietnamese business sector, said NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung.

Mr. Hung emphasized this at a July 30 meeting with entrepreneurs that were elected as deputies to the 13th NA. The Chairman highlighted the role of the entrepreneur deputies in NA operations and the country’s economic development. He asked the deputies contribute their ideas to help the NA fulfill its tasks of making laws, supervising, and deciding on the country’s important issues.

He expressed his belief that the deputies who are businesspeople will work hard to deserve the voters’ trust.

During the meeting, the entrepreneur deputies talked about the difficulties facing Vietnamese businesses and proposed the NA complete a legal framework to create favourable conditions for business operations in order to contribute to boosting the country’s socio-economic growth.

They pledged to fulfill their tasks as NA deputies and contribute to the country’s development.
