Police bust transnational drug ring in HCM City
(VOV) - Police in Ho Chi Minh City seized a shipment of illicit drugs, including 1.5kg of pseudoephedrine and ephedrine, for delivery to Australia on September 25.
The drugs were sent by an unknown person from District 8, HCM City to an unidentified recipient in Australia on September 22 and were concealed in three jars of honey weighing approximately 2.6kg.
After being tested, customs inspectors determined the shipment contained 1.5kg of substances used in the production of synthetic drugs.
The HCM City Customs Department is working together with relevant agencies for further investigation of the matter.
