The UK Ambassador to Vietnam Robert Gordon gave a formal reception in Hanoi on June 6 to mark the 80th birth anniversary of the UK Queen Elizabeth II, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dzung.

Addressing the reception, Mr Dzung thanked the UK of Great Britain for its assistance and support for Vietnam’s national construction and development, as well as its international integration process.

Mr Dzung believed that with great determination and goodwill by the two sides, Vietnam-UK relations will continue to be strengthened in many areas, in line with the potential and expectations of the two peoples.
