The Trade Ministry’s Trade Promotion Department is preparing to launch a national trademark programme with the aim of promoting Vietnamese trademarks at home and abroad.

Those enterprises that meet the programme’s requirements will have their products labelled “Vietnam Value Inside”, a sign to help customers, especially foreign clients, recognise the products’ origin.

Currently, the criteria for national products to benefit from the programme, which was approved by the Prime Minister in 2003, are being completed and are expected to be announced in the middle of the year.
