The sixth Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union’s Robot Competition (ABU Robocon 2007) will be held in Vietnam from August 24-29, 2007 for the first time, the Vietnam Television (VTV) announced on December 15.
Toyota Vietnam Corporation will be the main sponsor of the competition, while the Corporation for Financing and Promoting Technology (FPT) will be the contest's technology sponsor.
VTV will organise the Robocon Vietnam 2007 contest from April 15-June 3, 2007, to select two best teams for the ABU Robocon finals under the theme “Ha Long Bay Discovery”.
