First Vietnamese plays at volleyball world cup

 Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa will be the first and only Vietnamese athlete to compete at the upcoming World Women’s Club Volleyball Championship in the Philippines.

Hoa plays for Thailand’s Bangkok Glass, the current Asian champions.

The tournament gathers the eight best squads from around the world to compete from October 18-23 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Bangkok Glass are in Group B with Volero Zurich of Switzerland, Hisamitsu Springs of Japan and Vakifbank of Turkey.
