Vietnam will invest around VND15 billion to promote its tourism in the country on an international TV, according to International Co-operation Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
Instead of advertising on CNN and BBC as in 2009, Vietnam’s tourist industry will now appear on one international channel. The department will submit its plans to the Board of National Tourism Action Programme to select either CNN, BBC, StarSport or Discovery.
The country’s tourist destination will also be advertised in several international magazines.
