“In my eyes, Ha is very trendy,” said designer Trong Nguyen, one of Hanoi’s and HCM City’s top designers.

“I think that a successful singer needs many things to draw the attention of the audience, like vision and style,” Ha said.

Male model, Nguyen Binh Minh, was voted 2008’s Best Dressed Artist. Most Stylish Artist went to dancer Linh Nga and actor Viet Anh.

The Impressive Artist title went to stunning actress Tang Thanh Ha, for her charming dresses.

This year, the Worst Dressed title was not announced but organizers joked about singers from the television show Sao Mai Diem Hen (Morning Star-Rendezvous). Most of their costumes are eyesores, even though the show hires costume advisors.

Artists My Le, Thu Minh and MC Thanh Bach need to smarten up, according to the magazine.

The awards began in 1999. The voters are fashion designers from the Vietnam Fashion Institute (Fadin) and around 30 journalists.
