More than 60 athletes from 11 teams across the country began competition at the 2007 National Table Tennis Tournament held in central coastal Nha Trang city on October 15.
During the four-day event, they will compete for four sets of medals in the men’s and women’s single and double events.
The tournament aims to assess training activities at big sport centres of the country and select best players for the national team in preparation for the upcoming 24th SEA Games to be held in Thailand this December.
