Vietnam’s Nguyen Thanh Binh and Nguyen Thanh Long have left for Yangon, Myanmar, to compete at the Asian Snooker and English Billiards Championship.

They will meet with familiar rivals from Thailand, Singapore and Myanmar.

In 2007, Long easily overcame the qualifying round in the English Billiards event while his teammate was knocked out.

Long defeated Myanmar’s defending champion Aung Sun Co 4-2 in the quarterfinals before losing 3-4 to Peter Gilchrist of Singapore in the semifinals. In the third-placed match, he lost 1-3 to Aung Htay from Myanmar.
