Vietnam’s ethnic culture highlighted at Hong Kong festival
(VOV) - On November 1, a Vietnamese delegation gave a music and dance performance opening the 2015 Asian Ethnic Cultural Performance in TsimShaTsui of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China.
The event attracted representatives from Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, India, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Macau and Hong Kong (China).
It provided entertainment for the ethnic communities and introduced different ethnic cultures to the public as a contribution to reinforcingsolidarity, friendship and deepening mutual understanding among Asian nations towards a peaceful, civilised, and prosperous world.
The song and dance performance by the Vietnam Fellow Countrymen Friendship Association in Macau received great plaudits from international friends and local residents.
