The Alpha Petrol Joint Stock Company became the official sponsor of the National First Division Football Tournament after signing an agreement with the Vietnam Football Federation on January 2.
The tournament, which is called “The Alpha Petrol National First Division Football Tournament 2008”, is scheduled to kick off on January 5.
Fourteen clubs will participate, including An Giang, Can Tho, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Huda Hue, QK4, QK5, Qk7, T&T Hanoi, Tay Ninh, Than Quang Ninh, Tien Giang, Quang Ngai and Vinakansai Ninh Binh.
The event is expected to be more exciting this year as all these clubs have prepared well and are ready to field their impressive teams.
