U23 Vietnam training with extra zip after historic win
VOV.VN - The Vietnam U23 squad took a training session in Changshu Stadium in Jiangsu, China on January 15 as they prepare for their match against Syria U23s on January 17.

| For training, the squad is split into two groups. The first group are reserve team players while the second group are first team players who featured in the recent match against Australia, such as Cong Phuong, Xuan Truong, and Quang Hai. |

| Players in the second group only train lightly to aid recovery. |

| Meanwhile the reserve team are put through their paces with physical and speed training to keep them ready. |

| If U23 Vietnam draw with U23 Syria, and U23 Republic of Korea don’t lose to U23 Australia, U23 Vietnam will go through to the quarter-finals. If U23 Vietnam win against U23 Syria, coach Park Hang Seo’s team are ensured a quarter-finals berth. |
