The Australian foodstuff firm Western Exporters has said that it will hire workers from Vietnam to overcome its labour shortage, local media reported.

Western Exporters plans to employ Vietnamese workers and even encourage some of their families to move to Australia, according to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).

The Queensland-based company mainly exports lamb and goat meat to more than 30 countries, including the United States, the European Union (EU), Canada, Mexico and the Middle East.
