Picturesque rice terraces in northern highlands
(VOV) - May marks the start of the ploughing season in Vietnam’s northern mountainous provinces, creating vistas rivaling landscape paintings with their beauty.
The rice terraces of Lao Cai province’s Y Ty commune in Bat Xat district resemble stairs to a blue heaven.
Terraces combine with cloud-shrouded mountain peaks for views as stunning as the famous fields in Sa Pa (Lao Cai), Hoang Su Phi (Ha Giang), and Mu Cang Chai (Yen Bai).
