VOV.VN - Six Flags Entertainment has announced to open amusement and water parks in Vietnam.

The world’s largest amusement park corporation will join hands with Vietnamese private business, NaVi Entertainment to construct an amusement park and a water park near Ho Chi Minh City.

Named Six Flags and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, the parks are expected to welcome visitors in the next three to four years.

Vietnam is the third destination outside North America, after China and the UAE that Six Flags open parks.

Currently it owns and manages 18 parks in the US, Mexico and Canada. Last year these parks received 28.6 million visitors, a year-on-year increase of 10%.

Six Flags Entertainment recently constructed an amusement park in Haiyan in Shanghai, China, which is expected to inaugurate in 2019.
