SAP-Vietnam on August 4 presented 80 wheelchairs worth VND160 million to people with disabilities in south-central Khanh Hoa province.

SAP-Vietnam is a charitable organisation established by overseas Vietnamese people in the US. Since 1996, the organisation has provided significant assistance to children and people with disabilities in Khanh Hoa province. Through the Rehabilitation and Education Centre for Disabled Children, SAP-Vietnam has offered free operation smiles to 852 children and orthopedic surgery to 550 people as well as bringing up 20 children with disabilities at the centre.

Together with other charitable organisations, SAP-Vietnam has helped disabled people integrate into the community.
