The awards were made on the fringes of Business Roundtable along with the Government of Vietnam and aims to honour Vietnamese enterprises which have achieved significant results in the nation’s integration process and to promote Vietnam’s image as a rising star in Asia.   

Five Business Star awards went to the Industrial and Commercial Bank of Vietnam, the Saigon Investment Group, Vinpearl Trade and Tourism Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Glass and Ceramics for Construction Corporation and Civil Engineering Construction Company 5 (Cienco 5).

Petrovietnam and the Tan Tao Investment Industry Corporation were also awarded the Sieu sao kinh doanh (Business Super-Star) prizes.

This is a biannual event during the Business Conference which is organised by The Economist magazine from the UK and The World & Vietnam Report from the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry in an effort to encourage Vietnamese enterprises to do better and achieve more when doing business during the international integration process.
