Celebrating the 70th anniversary of National Resistance Day
VOV.VN - December 19 is designated as National Resistance Day to commemorate the success of the 1945 August Revolution. This year marks the 70th anniversary of that historic day.
At the Vietnam Military History Museum in Hanoi an exhibition showcasing photos and artefacts exploring and explaining all aspects of this special day in the nation’s history has opened. |
The presentations also include memorabilia pertaining to the US resistance war and those protecting the southwest and northern borders. Above are machine guns used by the Vietnam army in the battles. |
