Vietnam values ties with Mongolia

VOV.VN - Vietnam always attaches importance to the traditional friendship with Mongolia, and considers this as a valuable asset of both countries, Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong said while receiving Chairman of the Mongolian Parliament Miyegombo Enkhbold in Hanoi on January 23.

The Party leader suggested Vietnam and Mongolia to further reinforce the traditional friendship between the​ Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Mongolian People’s Party, thus deepening the bilateral relations.

He thanked Miyegombo Enkhbold and the Mongolian delegation for their attendance at the 26th Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF-26) and extolled the outcomes of the talks between Miyegombo Enkhbold and his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

He also asked the two law-making bodies to maintain experience sharing and asked the two nations to further bolster their economic and trade cooperation. 

Miyegombo Enkhbold, in return, expressed his impression of Vietnam’s country and people, and applauded the success of the APPF-26 hosted by the country. 

He also showd his desire to expand wide-ranging cooperation between the two countries’ legislatures and urged both sides to elevate their friendship and cooperation to a higher level for the sake of the two people, and for peace, stability, and development in the region and the wider world.
