The film A Royal Affair will screen on opening day. It tells a gripping tale of brave idealists who risk everything in their pursuit of freedom for the people and is a story full of passion and forbidden romance that changed an entire nation.
The film was nominated for the 2013 Oscar Academy Awards as The Best Foreign Language Film of the Year and has won 21 international prizes and 37 nominations at international awards.
Other internationally acclaimed films – A Royal Affair, The Candidate, Freddy Frogface, A Hijacking, Mini and the Mozzies, The Hunt, The Circus Dynasty, and Silent Heart will also screen at the events.
Danish Embassy’s Facebook followers are invited to participate in a mini-contest on Saturday November 12, 2016, to win tickets for the films at both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City locations.
