Tanzanian Prime Minister Edward N. Lowassa, his wife and his entourage left Hanoi for Ho Chi Minh City on September 6.

Earlier, they paid a floral tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum.
During his stay in Hanoi, PM Lowassa held talks with his Vietnamese counterpart, PM Nguyen Tan Dung, met with National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong and paid a courtesy visit to Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh.

The PM also visited a number of Vietnamese enterprises, the Van Mieu (Temple of Literature), the Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Post Harvest Technology, and the Institute for Fruit and Vegetables Research.
