NA Chairman elected Chairman of National Electoral Council
(VOV) -National Assembly (NA) deputies have elected NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung as the Chairman of the National Electoral Council.
The top legislator proposed that the National Assembly ratify the Council’s lineup, which included 4 vice-chairpersons and 16 other members of the Council.
The 4 vice-chairpersons of the Council are National Assembly chairwoman Tong Thi Phong, Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan.
The NA Standing Committee nominated Nguyen Hanh Phuc, head of the National Assembly office, for the post of Secretary General of the 13th legislature.
