State Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan and Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn have expressed their delight at the fine development of traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

During her June 20 meeting with Princess Sirindhorn, she said she believes that under the reign of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Thailand will prosper and further succeed in enhancing its prestige in the region and the world.

On this occasion, Vice President Doan conveyed President Truong Tan Sang’s best wishes to King Bhumibol Adulyadej and the Royal family and invited Pricess Sirindhorn to visit Vietnam.

The Thai Princess said she believes Ms Doan’s the visit will contribute greatly to bolstering the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

Pricess Sirindhorn expressed her admiration for Vietnam’s socio-economic development in recent years, saying she will continue to support Vietnam in improving its education and human resources training through regular exchange of teachers and students between the two countries.
