Paintings of Vietnamese and Cuban artists are being displayed at an exhibition, which is taking place at the centre of Hague city, the Netherlands, from Oct. 12-26.

The Vietnamese and Cuban artists included Thanh Chuong, Vu Thu Hien, La Ba Quan, Trinh Huan, Pedro Hernandez Torres and Victor Handez Mora.

 

The exhibition was co-organised by the ARTANA fine arts exhibition organisation and the Vietnamese and Cuban Embassies in the Netherlands.

 

According to the organising board, Vietnam and Cuba have many things in common as they are both on the path of development and fine arts play an important role in their history and social life.

 

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Netherlands, Ha Huy Thong, briefly introduced the development of culture and fine arts in Vietnam. He said that the exhibition will help to promote artistic cooperation and mutual understanding between Vietnam, Cuba and the Netherlands.
