Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dzung last weekend agreed to the ASEAN Framework Agreement on Visa Exemption that will allow citizens in ten ASEAN-member countries to travel within the region for a period of two weeks without visas, the Sai Gon Times Daily reported.

The agreement will likely be signed late this month at an annual meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), comprising Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei, Myanmar, and the Philippines.
