An 18-hole golf course will be built in Cua Lo town, central Nghe An province in late April, said Chairman of the Cua Lo People’s Committee Ho Duc Phoc on March 15.

The 120-ha project will cost about US$62.5 million, Mr Phoc said.

He also revealed the town's plan to build two coastal resorts in Nghi Thuy and Nghi Hai precincts and inaugurate a 5-km lighting system at sea to welcome more tourists.

With white and smooth sand, clean and lightly salted water, Cua Lo beach is one of the best beaches in Vietnam. Every year, it receives around one million tourists, one-fifth of whom are foreigners.
