No friendly match between Vietnam and India

(VOV) -The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has declined India’s offer to play a friendly match on October 19, announced its Secretary General Ngo Le Bang on October 1.

The offer came after the Vietnamese team’s decision to replay with Indonesia at the National My Dinh Stadium on October 16.

It was highly appreciated as India is a strong opponent in Asia which can provide Vietnam with valuable experience.

In addition, the friendly match with India will not affect the squad’s agenda before the AFF Cup because Singapore has refused to play the friendly with Vietnam.

The VFF’s refusal was mainly due to India’s demand for advertisements to be placed on the playing ground and an immediate reply on October 1.
