With the traditional Tet festival drawing near, Tuy An district in the central coastal province of Phu Yen presented 350 gifts to poor, disabled and orphan children in the hope that unlucky children will have a happy holiday.

As many as 60 gifts worth VND12 million were also given to children infected by HIV/AIDS in Duc Hoa district in the Mekong delta province of Long An by the provincial centre of HIV/AIDS control.
