More than 20 students from Hanoi and the Republic of Korea are displaying their works at a fine arts exhibition entitled “New Wave”, to run from June 4-9, in Hanoi.

The exhibition, the first of its kind to be held in Vietnam, is organized by the Embassy and the Cultural Centre of the RoK in order to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Vietnam-RoK diplomatic ties.

The majority of the RoK student's works are lacquers that depict flowers and landscapes while the Vietnamese artists have focused on contemporary life.

Most of the participating students are enrolled at either the Hanoi Fine Arts College or the Hanoi Industrial College.
