Sepak Takraw: Two golds in King’s Cup for Vietnam

Vietnam grabbed two gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the King’s Cup Sepak Takraw (kick volleyball, a sport native to South East Asia region) World Championship in Thailand.

The two golds went to the women’s team of three and team of four. Women athletes also pocketed a silver in the hoop event, after losing to the hosts in the final. 

The men’s team of four secured a bronze and another in the hoop class.

The championship, held from October 17 to 23 in Bangkok, has participants from 34 countries. 

There are five sets of medals for men and women to be won at the 31st edition of the championship.
