Six-party talks on the Korean peninsular nuclear issue will resume from September 27 to 30, China’s Xinhua news agency reported on September 21.

The decision was made by parties concerned through consultations, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu was quoted by Xinhua as saying.

The six-party talks were initiated in 2003 and are comprised of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Russia and the United States.
