The Ho Chi Minh City based Vietbook and the Vietnam News Agency‘s Publishing House will soon publish a collection of Vietnamese records.

The 400- page Vietnam Records Directory 2009-2010 will list new records that individuals and organisations have set in 13 different fileds like arts, literature, music, lifestyle, science and economics.

The book will also feature records for handicraft villages around the country based on their history and development illustrated in some hundred colour photos and texts.

It will be distributed by the Fasaha book store chain in January, 2010.

In 2006, Vietbook signed a copyright deal with the Guiness Book Records to broadcast the later programmes on television.

The company will soon offer technical support to the US organization for producing TV shows in Vietnam and print the Guiness Book of World Records in Vietnamese.
