The police in the northern border province of Lang Son on January 23 arrested a drug dealer and seized 87 heroin bricks (weighing about 350 grams each) in a big crackdown on drug crime.

Apart from the 87 heroin bricks, the police also confiscated more than 390 synthetic drug pills when arresting Au Van Tach, who was living in Dong Dang town of Cao Loc district.

While searching Tach’s home, the police also found 160 synthetic drug pills and five packages of white crystal suspected of being methamphetamine, 1 million Chinese yuan (over US$145,800), and VND1.45 billion (over US$64,200).
