The traditional ties between Vietnam and Madagascar have constantly expanded in the fields of politics, culture, science and trade, said Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai while receiving the Madagascan Minister of Trade, Dr. Ivohasina Fizara Razafimahefa, on October 20.
The Madagascan minister spoke highly Vietnam’s experience in agricultural production as well as the contributions made by its agricultural experts who are working in Madagascar.
He said during his stay he will hold working sessions with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to import Vietnamese rice and boost trade ties.
