Vietnam draw RoK 1:1 at AFF U19 Champs
Hosts Vietnam were held to a 1-1 draw by the Republic of Korea (RoK) in their second match in the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) U19 Championship in HCM City on July 26.
Lee Ki Je from the RoK scored the first goal in the 45th minute, but in the last minute of the second half, Vietnamese striker Van Thach slammed the ball into the back of the net to level the score.
With a 1-1 draw, Vietnam got two points. To enter the finals, the Vietnamese team needs another draw or victory in the next match over their Australian rivals who are currently top of the group.
