As many as 100 of the most outstanding Vietnamese trademarks in the international integration process will be awarded with the Sao Vang Dat Viet (Vietnam Gold Star Prize 2007), said organizers at the launch of the selection programme in Hanoi on July 17.

The event, to be held for the fifth time by the Central Committee of the Association of Vietnamese Young Entrepreneurs, aims to improve business assistance in the integration process and boost Vietnamese trademark development in both local and foreign markets.

Enterprises selected for the award have to meet the criterion of international competition standards, such as competitive capacity and prestigious product trademark; technology, environment and quality management work; trademark development work; business management and administration work; and achievements in production, business operation and social activities.

This year, the organizing board will also present awards for the top ten Vietnamese trademarks.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in Hanoi in September 2007.
