As many as 26 artists from the Hue Theatre for Traditional and Royal Arts will perform Nha Nhac (royal music of Vietnam’s former imperial city of Hue) in ten Spanish cities during their attendance at an art festival.

The art troupe is also expected to introduce Vietnam's tourism products and call for Spain's investment in the field.

Nha nhac was recognised by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) as intangible oral heritage in early November 2003.

Referred to as “elegant music”, the music was commonly performed at grand royal ceremonies and religious events as well as on special occasions. It was first introduced to the public during the Ly Dynasty in the 15th century and flourished in the late 18th century under the Nguyen's last feudal dynasty.
