Since 2002, the Minh Tu Company has been implementing a pilot project to design and manufacture equipment to produce of 50 tonnes of bio diesel per day. Bio diesel was sent to Singapore to verify its quality. The product is mixed with diesel and used as fuel to operate trains and automobiles.

The Minh Tu Company also produces bio mazut from tra and basa fish.
