35 rescued off Nha Trang coast

Thirty five fishermen, whose fishing vessel's engine broke down on April 6, were safely brought to the Khanh Hoa Province's Nha Trang port this afternoon.

The fishermen were rescued by the Nha Trang Maritime Search and Rescue Co-ordination Centre. Their health was said to be in good condition.

The vessel had broken down as it was fishing at about 280 nautical miles east of the Nha Trang coast.

After receiving the emergency message from the fishing vessel, the centre had dispatched the rescue ship SAR27-01 to find the fishermen and tow the fishing vessel back to the mainland.
