VFF and LFNC play an important role in educating people of both nations, especially the youth, about the traditional friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, Mr Trong told LFNC President Phan Douangchit Vongsa in Hanoi on October 25. 

He valued the current visit to Vietnam by Phan Douangchit Vongsa and results of cooperation between the two organisations in building the great national unity bloc, contributing to bringing the Vietnam-Laos special solidarity to a new height.

Phan Douangchit Vongsa informed his host of recent developments in Laos and cooperation activities between the two fronts. He affirmed that the Party, State, Front and people of Laos will spare no effort to maintain and foster the Laos-Vietnam traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation.
