Trade fair and exhibition open in Phu Quoc
(VOV) - A trade, tourism, and investment fair and exhibition opened on Phu Quoc Island in the southern Kien Giang province on December 14.
The event is part of inauguration activities for Phu Quoc international airport promoting the potential of Phu Quoc Island to both local and foreign investors.
The exhibition’s 220 pavilions displayed products from Mekong River Delta and HCM City businesses including electronics, household utensils, consumer goods, clothes, interior decoration, as well as local specialties like wine, fish sauce, pepper, and pearl.
Travel companies have also capitalised on the opportunity to provide visitors with useful information on local restaurant and hotel services, resorts, and ecological areas. The fair also aims to to boost trade exchanges and cooperation between regions in the context of international economic integration.
The event will run through to December 23.
