Ho Chi Minh City and Geneva of Switzerland will expand bilateral cooperation in sports, urban management and social and cultural issues.
A cooperation agreement was signed by Chairman of the HCM City People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan and Geneva Governor Andre Hediger on April 13.
Under the agreement, Geneva will help HCM City train football and tennis coaches, and the two cities will share experiences in urban management, waste treatment, protection of water resources, urban heritage and tourism development cooperation.
At the meeting, both host and guest expressed their belief that there is significant untapped potential for both cities to explore in the near future.
