The Party committee of the centrally-run agencies bloc closed its congress for the 2010-2015 term in Hanoi Dec. 24 with the election of a 55-member executive board.
Nguyen Minh Quang, a member of 10th the Party Central Committee and vice-secretary of the bloc’s Party committee for 2007-2010 term, was elected as Secterary for the 2010-2015 term.
The two-day congress adopted orientations, tasks and solutions to build a pure, strong Party committee. It also emphasised the need to improve the leadership and combative and the political nucleus role of party organisations, the vanguard role of cadres and party members, in order to successfully implement resolutions of the bloc’s party committee and the upcoming 11th National Party Congress.
The congress agreed to send a 32-member delegation to the 11th National Party Congress.
