First Vietnamese representative at London Fashion Week
(VOV) -The British Council (BC) Vietnam has invited famous Vietnamese designer Cong Tri to join the prestigious International Fashion programme at London Fashion Week this February.
Tri will introduce his 6th collection—dubbed “Mushrooms”—which enjoyed a successful Vietnamese premiere in early January.
Tri explained his collection was inspired by the variety of mushroom structures, their solidarity, and their rapid growth.
BC Vietnam Director Robin Rickard said Tri’s creativity and reputation convinced him the designer warranted the invitation and expressed his belief Tri will leave a deep impression on London’s fashion lovers.
This will be the first time Vietnam is represented at the event.
