Agroviet 2015 gets underway in Hanoi
(VOV) - In excess of 200 exhibitors were on hand for the kickoff of the 15th edition of the International Agriculture Trade Fair – Agroviet 2015 – on November 6 in Hanoi.
In addition, the Vietnam Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) said opening day saw 400 pavilions displaying a wide variety of agriculture, forestry, marine and ancillary products.
MARD said this year several exhibitors are showcasing specialties from several regions from around the country such as fruit, Bao Minh rice, Thai Nguyen tea, San Nam dried fruits.
“Exhibits of state-of-the-art machinery and equipment drew large crowds on the first day,” said MARD.
On the sidelines of the event, a range of other important activities are planned including a direct trade program as well as seminars discussing trends and other topics of interest.
The event runs November 6-9 at the Exhibition Fair, Economic transaction & Commercial Area, No 489 Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi, Vietnam.
